NEW FOR 2024

Second Saturdays at the Site will offer self-guided tours and the opportunity for visitors to walk into the rooms of the cabins and interact with historical interpreters. Some months will feature special activities for visitors to enjoy like skilled trades, musical entertainment, reenactments, refreshments, community involvement, and more. Check our calendar of events soon for monthly details. (Please see below for special event admission pricing.)

Weakley House Museum opens with the Pioneer Settlement in April. This guided tour experience showcases the life of Historic Collinsville Founders Glen and JoAnn Weakley. Of particular interest is JoAnn’s extensive quilt collection and weaving equipment. Glen was an avid game hunter and found many arrowheads on the property while farming their hundreds of acres. Guided tours are subject to availability and may be requested in advance. CLICK HERE TO REQUEST A TOUR
